Shopping

Regarding shopping you can choose between the food stores (ABC) and the friendly small shops, which can be found every corner walking along the streets on the one hand and the shopping centres and supermarkets on the other hand. Food stores are generally open from 6 or 7 am to 7 or 8 pm. At the same time there are several non-stop stores, which operate for longer time, in the best case for 24 hours. The shops are not closed for lunchtime. Generally small non-stop stores are more expensive than bigger food stores. If you go for shopping, please note that the smaller shops not always receive bankcard although this kind of payment is spreading in Hungary.
